Curriculam

The present curriculum in dentistry is evolved giving more importance to the need of the society and its character traditional a curriculum was only attempting to fill the minds of students with knowledge. Real assimilation of knowledge was not there due to lack of proper curriculum and methods of teaching in dental science. The traditional dentists could not meet the social needs of the society, especially the needs of the rural public. They saw only the tooth diseases. The social and individual problems of the patient were not before them.

Training makes students aware of the social needs and environmental problem. They shall be healthy with character, sound body, sound mind and sound way of approaching public. They shall be trained to have the habit of observations, patience and experimentation. Our dentists shall be humanitarian, hard working and affectionate to patients with sympathy to their social problems. We give more importance to preventive medicines. The curriculum envisaged by the Dental Council of India and the University is followed in this institution. Of course, our contributions to the curriculum are also significant.

SRI RAJIV GANDHI DENTAL COLLEGE HOSPITAL offers free treatment to a large number of patients.
